These two were Hindu inhabitant villages. Pakistani army and Razakars, led by the notorious Razakar Gulbahar (Shalle), entered into these two villages and fire indiscriminately with machine guns. Homes were burnt down in both villages. No one could, especially Hindu family, spare from the hands of them. Even many miscreants looted their houses too.</span></p> -

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Kalpurush; mso-bidi-language: BN;" lang="BN">সাতক্ষীরা সদরের মাহমুদপুর স্কুলে নির্যাতন কেন্দ্র হলেও পাক সেনাদের ক্যাম্প ছিল আহম্মদ আলী ( ন’মিয়া) ও গোলাম আকবর মোড়ল (মেঝ মিয়া) নামক ব্যক্তিদের বাড়িতে। এই বাড়ি দু’টিতে এসে বাড়ির লোকজনদের ট্রাকে তুলে সাতক্ষীরা শহরে পাঠিয়ে দেয়। বাড়ি দুটি দখল করে সেখানে যুদ্ধের যাবতীয় রসদ এনে রাখে এবং সর্বপ্রকার নিরাপত্তার ব্যবস্থা রাখে। তারা এই বাড়িতে অবস্থান করলেও তাদের নির্যাতন কেন্দ্র ছিল মাহমুদপুর প্রাইমারী ও হাই স্কুল। এই ক্যাম্পে নির্যাতন করে হত্যার পর রক্তের গন্ধ পরিষ্কারের জন্য রক্তের ড্রেনে সোডা ছিটিয়ে দেওয়া হতো। তবে প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীরা জানায়</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Kalpurush;">, </span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Kalpurush; mso-bidi-language: BN;" lang="BN">এই ক্যাম্পে মাহমুদপুর এলাকার কোন লোককে নির্যাতন করা হয়নি কিংবা হত্যা করা হয়নি। নির্যাতিত ব্যক্তিরা ছিল সবাই বাইরের গ্রামের।</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Kalpurush;">***</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Kalpurush;">Although Mahmudpur School of Satkhira Sadar was a torture center, the camp of the Pakistani Army was in the house of Ahmmod Ali (Noa’ Mia) and Golam Akbar Moral (Mejho Mia). Pakistani Army had captivated the houses and kept the supplies of the war there and ensured all kinds of security. Although they used to stay in these houses, but the torture centers were in Mahmudpur Primary and High School. After the killing of the tortured people, soda was sprinkled in the blood drain to remove the blood odor. The eyewitnesses said that all of the tortured victims were from outside of the village.</span></p>
