লাঙ্গলবাধঁ বধ্যভূমি

শ্রীপুর উপজেলায় মধুমতি নদীর তীরে অবস্থিত লাঙ্গলবাধেঁ ১৯৭১ সালের মে-জুন মাসে পাকিস্তান বাহিনী ক্যাম্প স্থাপন করে। ক্যাম্প স্থাপনের পরে বিভিন্ন এলাকা থেকে ৬০ দিনে নিরীহ মুক্তিকামী মানুষকে ধরে নিয়ে এসে নির্যাতন শেষে হত্যা করে পাশে মধুমতি নদীতে ফেলে দিত। ফরিদপুর জেলার মধুখালি উপজেলা থেকে নদী পার হয়ে যারা আসতো তাদেরকে ধরে এনে এখানে নির্যাতন করতো। এরপর হত্যা করে নদীতে ফেলে দিত। 

Langalbandh Mass Killing Site, Magura

The Pakistani forces set up camp on May-June at the Langalbandh on the banks of the Madhumti River in Sreepur upazila. After setting up the camp, innocent people were taken from different areas to torture, and then they were killed and thrown into the Madhumati River. Those who used to cross the river from Madhukhali upazila of Faridpur district they were caught and tortured here. Later they were killed and were thrown into the river.
