যশোর শহরের উত্তরদিকে নওয়াপাড়া ইউনিয়নের বিরামপুর গ্রামে বিমল রায় চৌধুরী পুরাতন দোতলা বাড়িটি একাত্তরে রাজাকারদের ঘাঁটি ছিল। রায় চৌধুরীরা মুক্তিযুদ্ধকালে বাড়িটি ফেলে রেখে চলে গেলে রাজাকাররা দখল করে সেখানে ক্যাম্প স্থাপন করে। যশোর শহর এবং অন্যান্য স্থান থেকে স্বাধীনতাকামী বাঙালিদের ধরে নির্মম নির্যাতন করে পাশে ভৈরব নদের তীরে নিয়ে সারিবদ্ধভাবে দাঁড় করিয়ে কখনো গুলি করে আবার কখনো জবাই করে হত্যা করে লাশ নদীতে ভাসিয়ে দিতো।

To the north of Jessore city, in Noapara Union at Birampur village, the Razakars made their camp on Bimol Roy Chowdhury’s 2 two-storied house.  During the wartime, Roy Chowdhury left the house and therefore the Razakars seized the house and usedit as their camp.  They used to abduct people from Jessore and outside of the Jessore and had killed them on the bank of Bhairab, later they used to throw the bodies in the river.
