বকচর গণহত্যা/ Bakchar Genocide
যশোর পৌর এলাকার বকচর গ্রামে ২৯ মার্চ পাকিস্তানি সেনাবাহিনী প্রবেশ করে এবং অসংখ্য মানুষকে হত্যা করে। বকচর বটতলা এলাকায় অধিকাংশ হিন্দু সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষ বাস করতো। এখানকার শতবর্ষী বটগাছের তলায় তারা পূজা অর্চনা করতো। এই বটগাছের পাশে ছিল একটি কুয়া। মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় পাকিস্তানি হানাদার বাহিনী ও তাদের এদেশীয় দোসররা এই এলাকার নিরীহ মানুষদের ধরে জবাই করে এই কুয়োর মধ্যে ফেলে দিতো। শতশত মানুষকে এখানে হত্যা করা হয়েছে। ৫ এপ্রিল পাকিস্তানি বাহিনী গ্রামে প্রবেশ করে শতাধিক বাঙালিকে ধরে এনে পাশে নটবর বাবুর বাঁশ বাগানে দাঁড় করিয়ে তাঁদের হত্যা করে।     ***   193. On 29th March, the Pakistani army entered Bakchar village in Jessore municipality and killed many people. Mostly, the Hindu community lived in the Bakchar Batala (base of Banyan tree) area. They used to perform religious veneration on the base of the Banyan tree here. There was a well besides this. During the Liberation War, the Pakistani army and their native collaborators captured and killed hundreds of innocent people in the area and threw them into the well.   On 5 April, the Pakistani forces entered the village and captured hundreds of Bengalis and killed them.
বকচর গণকবর/ Bokchor Mass Grave
যশোর শহরের বকচর বধ্যভূমিতে শহিদ হন অসংখ্য স্বাধীনতাকামী বাঙালি। পাকিস্তানি সেনাবাহিনী ও বিহারিরা সম্মিলিতভাবে এই গণহত্যা চালায়। বাঙালিদের ধরে এনে ২৯ মার্চ হত্যা করে সেইসব লাশ পাশে নটবর বাবুর বাঁশ বাগানে গণকবর দেয় হয়। এই বধ্যভূমিতে নিহত শহিদদের স্মরণে যশোর খুলনা সড়কের পাশে স্মৃতি ফলক স্থাপন করা হলেও ঐ গণকবরটি চিহ্নিত ও সংরক্ষণের কোন ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হয়নি।   ***  A huge number of Bengalis had been martyred on this genocide. Pakistani Military Force and Biharis jointly perpetrated this genocide. They captured many Bengalis and killed them on 29th March. The dead bodies were buried in the garden of Notor Babu. There is a memorial beside Jessore- Khulna road to reminisce the martyrs of this genocide.
নীলগঞ্জ ব্রিজ গণহত্যা/ Nilganj Bridge Genocide
যশোর শহর থেকে পূর্বদিকে ১ কিমি: দূরে যশোর-নড়াইল সড়কে নীলগঞ্জ ব্রিজ অবস্থিত। মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় ঐ স্থানে স্থানীয় রাজাকারদের ঘাঁটি ছিল। রাজাকাররা আশপাশের গ্রাম থেকে সাধারণ মানুষ ও হিন্দু সম্প্রদায়ের লোকদের ধরে এনে এই ব্রিজে দাঁড় করিয়ে হত্যা করতো। হত্যার পর তাদের লাশ নিচের নদীতে ভাসিয়ে দেয়া হতো। তাছাড়া নীলগঞ্জ ব্রিজের অদূরে রয়েছে নীলগঞ্জ মহাশ্মশান। মুক্তিযুদ্ধকালে বহুদিন অসংখ্য মানুষকে ধরে এনে এই ব্রিজের উপর এবং শ্মশানের চত্বরে হত্যা করা হয়েছে। কত মানুষকে যে এখানে হত্যা করা হয়েছে তার পরিসংখ্যান নেই। স্থানীয় প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীদের মতে এখানে শতাধিক মানুষকে এখানে হত্যা করা হয়েছে।   ***    Nilganj Bridge is located on Jessore-Narail road, 1 km east of Jessore city. During the wartime, the local Razakars had set up their camp here. The Razakars used to exterminate local people and people from Hindu community on this bridge. There is a crematory near the bridge. Many people were exterminated on this bridge and cremation ground. According to local eyewitnesses, hundreds of people have been killed here during the wartime.
নীলগঞ্জ বিজিবি ক্যাম্প সংলগ্ন বধ্যভূমি/ Mass Killing Filed near Nilganj BGB Camp
বর্তমানে যশোর নড়াইল সড়কের উত্তর পাশে ঝুমঝুমপুরে যশোর সদর উপজেলা পরিষদে মুক্তিযুদ্ধ শুরুর অল্প কিছুদিন পরে রাজাকার সালাম একটি ক্যাম্প তৈরি করে। ঐ ক্যাম্পে সাধারণ মানুষদের ধরে এনে অকথ্য নির্যাতন করা হতো। তাছাড়া রাতের বেলা নীলগঞ্জ ব্রিজের ওপর এবং নীলগঞ্জ শ্মশানে সাধারণ মানুষদেরকে হত্যা করে নদীতে লাশ ভাসিয়ে দেয়া হতো। প্রায় ৭দিনে শতাধিক মানুষকে এই বধ্যভূমিতে হত্যা করা হয়েছে।   *** Razakar Salam set up a camp at Jhumjhumpur in Jessore Sadar Upazila Parishad. Local people were captured and tortured in this camp. People had been killed over Nilganj bridge and on Nilganj crematory. Hundreds of the people were killed in this mass killing filed within 7 days.

বর্তমান মনিহার সিনেমা হলের পেছনে একাধিক গণকবর আছে। ঐ গণকবরের স্থান চিহ্নিত করে সংরক্ষণের কোন ব্যবস্থা নেয়া হয়নি। *** There are several mass graves behind the present Monihar Cinema Hall. But the place is not recognized yet, and no steps have been taken for preservation.

মুক্তিযুদ্ধ চলাকালে যশোর সরকারি সিটি কলেজের মাঠের দক্ষিণ -পশ্চিম কোণে অসংখ্য বাঙালিদের হত্যা করা হয়। বর্তমানে যেখানে মনিহার সিনেমাহল অবস্থিত তার পাশে এই বধ্যভূমিটির অবস্থান। পাকিস্তানি বাহিনী রাজাকার ও বিহারিদের সহযোগিতায় এখানে কমপক্ষে ৫ দিনে শতাধিক মানুষকে হত্যা করে মাটিচাপা দিয়ে রেখেছিল। ***  During the Liberation War, several people had been killed on the south-west corner Jessore City College field. This mass killing site is located beside the Monihar Cinema Hall (at present). Pakistani Army, in collaboration with Razakars and Biharis had nearly killed and grounded hundreds of people within 5 days in this place.
মুড়লির মোড় গণহত্যা/ Muroli Mor Genocide
  যশোর, খুলনা ও বেনাপোল মহাসড়কের মিলিত স্থান মুড়লির মোড়। খুলনা থেকে যশোর শহরে প্রবেশের মুখে মুড়লির মোড় থেকে ডানদিকে যশোর শহর। মুক্তিযুদ্ধ শুরুর পরপরই এপ্রিলের গোড়ার দিকে যশোর ক্যান্টনমেন্ট থেকে বেশ কিছু সংখ্যক পাকিস্তানি সৈন্য মুড়লির মোড়ে এসে ঘাঁটি স্থাপন করে। পাকিস্তানি সেনারা এবং তাদের দোসর বিহারিরা নিরীহ বাঙালিদের এখানে ধরে এনে নির্মম নির্যাতন করে হত্যা করতো। কিন্তু ৫ এপ্রিল মনিরামপুর এলাকা থেকে স্বাধীনতাকামী অসংখ্য মানুষ ট্রাকযোগে যশোর শহরে প্রবেশের সময় পাকিস্তানি সেনাবাহিনী নিরস্ত্র মানুষের ওপর নির্মম গুলি চালায়। অল্প সময়ের মধ্যে শতাধিক মানুষকে তারা সেদিন হত্যা করে।   ***   Muroli crossing is situated at Jessore, Khulna and Benapole highways. In early April, a large number of Pakistani armies came from Jessore Cantonment and set up camp at Muroli crossing. The Pakistani army and the collaborators used to bring local people here as captive, and then tortured and killed them. On April 5, the Pakistani Army fired upon the unarmed people of Monirampur while they were going to Jessore by a truck. Within a short time, they had killed hundreds of people on that day.
যশোর সরকারি হাঁস-মুরগির খামার বধ্যভূমি/ Jessore Govt. Poultry Farm Mass Killing Site
এই বধ্যভূমিটি যশোর জেলার সবচেয়ে  বড় বধ্যভূমি এবং বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম বৃহৎ বধ্যভূমি। ‘রায়পাড়া বধ্যভূমি,’ ‘শংকরপুর বধ্যভূমি’, ‘সরকারি হাঁস-মুরগি খামার বধ্যভূমি’ প্রভৃতি নামেও পরিচিত এই বধ্যভূমি। যশোর পৌর এলাকার রেলরোড ধরে রামকৃষ্ণ আশ্রম রোড হয়ে চাঁচড়ার দিকে যেতে হাস-মুরগির খামার পড়ে। এই বধ্যভূমিটির আশে পাশে ছিল অবাঙালি বিহারিদের তিনটি কলোনি। মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় পাকিস্তানি সৈন্যদের সাথে হাত মিলিয়ে তারা বাঙালিদের বিরুদ্ধে ক্ষোভের প্রতিশোধ নেওয়ার জন্য অসংখ্য মানুষকে হত্যা করে। এখানে বসবাসকারী বিহারিদের মধ্যে- কালা রশিদ, হাসনা, ভুট্টো, টেনিয়া, হাবিব, মোস্তফা, আবুল, রমজান, কালুয়া, মুনসুর ও ফখরুলের নেতৃত্বে পাকিস্তানি হানাদারদের সহযোগিতায় বিভিন্ন জায়গা থেকে বাঙালিদের ধরে এনে জবাই করতো এবং পাকিস্তানি সেনারা গুলি করে হত্যা করতো। অন্তত ১০০ দিনে এখানে ঐ মানুষদের হত্যা করা হয়। সরকারি হাঁস মুরগি খামারের পাশে কালিতলার গায়ে ১৯৯২ সালে একাত্তরের শহিদ স্মৃতিস্তম্ভ নির্মাণ করা হয়। ২০০৬ সালে সরকারি উদ্যোগে দর্শনীয় স্মৃতিস্তম্ভ নির্মাণ করা হয়।   ***   This genocide is the biggest genocide at Jessore and one of the biggest genocides in Bangladesh. This place is also known or mentioned as as ‘Roypara Genocide’, ‘Shangkarpur Genocide’, and ‘Govt. Poultry Farm Genocide’. There were 3 Bihari colonies (Non-Bengal) besides the mass killing site. During the War time, they, with the collaboration of Pakistani Army, killed countless Bengali people unpityingly. Local Biharisabducted many Bengali and slaughtered themhere. Pakistani Army also shot many Bengalis in this place. Around 6-7 thousands had been killed here within 100 days. In 1992, a Martyr Memorial has been built besides Govt. Poultry Farm Genocide and in 2006.
কোতোয়ালী থানা গণহত্যা/ Kotwali Police Station Genocide
যশোর ক্যান্টনমেন্ট থেকে পাকিস্তানি সেনাবাহিনী ৪ এপ্রিল অর্তকিতে কোতোয়ালি থানার ভিতরে প্রবেশ করে। সেনাবাহিনীর কাছে খবর ছিল কোতোয়ালি থানার বেশ কিছু পুলিশ সদস্য মুক্তিযুদ্ধের পক্ষে অবস্থান নিয়েছে। সেজন্যে তারা থানায় ঢুকে এলোপাতাড়ি গুলি করে ৫ জন পুলিশকে হত্যা করে। অন্যরা পালিয়ে এবং নানাভাবে আত্মগোপন করে প্রাণে বেঁচে যান। শহিদ পুলিশ সদস্যের স্মরণে কোতোয়ালী থানা চত্বরে ২০১০ সালে একটি স্মৃতিস্তম্ভ নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। ***  On 4th April, the Pakistani army unexpectedly entered in Kotowali police station. It was reported to the army that several policemen of Kotowali police station had taken the stand for the liberation war. That is why they went to the police station and shot dead 5 policemen. Others escaped and hid. A memorial has been built at Kotowali Police Station premises in 2010 in memory of the martyred policemen.
যশোর রেলস্টেশন গণহত্যা/ Jessore railway station Genocide
যশোর রেল স্টেশন এলাকায় পাকিস্তানি হানাদার ও তাদের দোসর রাজাকার, শান্তি-কমিটির সদস্য এবং বিশেষ করে বিহারিরা অসংখ্য মানুষকে হত্যা করেছে। খুলনা, বাগেরহাট, পিরোজপুরসহ বিভিন্ন এলাকা থেকে বহু মানুষ ভারতে যাওয়ার পথে এই রেলপথ ব্যবহার করতো। তাছাড়া অন্যান্য জায়গা থেকে আসা মানুষদের ধরে প্লাটফর্মের পাশে নিয়ে হত্যা করা হতো। ২৮ মার্চ পাকিস্তানি বাহিনী এই স্টেশনে ব্যাপক গণহত্যা চালায়। সেখানে অনেক বাঙালি নিহত হন, তাদের মধ্যে মাত্র ৫ জনের নাম জানা সম্ভব হয়। প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীদের ভাষ্যমতে, সমগ্র মুক্তিযুদ্ধকালে এখানে অন্তত ২০ টি গণহত্যা সংঘটিত হয়। অধিকাংশ মানুষ বহিরাগত হওয়ায় তাদের নাম পরিচয় উদ্ধার করা সম্ভব ঘয় নি। বিভিন্ন সময়ে যশোর রেলস্টেশন এলাকায় কমপক্ষে ৫০০ জনকে নির্মমভাবে হত্যা করা হয়েছে বলে অনুমান করা হয়।     ***    The Pakistani Army and their collaborators had killed numerous people in Jessore railway station during the Liberation War. People from different areas including Khulna, Bagerhat, Pirojpur used to use this path to go to India. The Pakistani army perpetrated a large-scale genocide in this railway station on 28th March. Though many were exterminated, butit is possible to identify only 5 of them. According to eyewitnesses, at least 20 genocides were perpetrated here throughout the war.  Since most people were outsiders, it is not possible to retrieve their names. It is estimated that at least 500 people were brutally killed in Jessore railway station at different timesof 1971.
