ডাকবাংলো নির্যাতন কেন্দ্র, পাবনা

১৯৭১ সালে পাকিস্তানি হানাদার বাহিনী পাবনা শহরের বিভিন্ন স্থানে নির্যাতন কেন্দ্র হিসেবে ব্যবহার করেছে। পাবনার বিভিন্ন এলাকা থেকে মুক্তিকামী মানুষ ও সাধারণ বাঙালিদের ধরে এনে এসকল স্থানে আটকে রেখে নানাভাবে নির্যাতন করা হতো। পাবনা শহরের নির্যাতন কেন্দ্রগুলর মধ্যে অন্যতম ছিলো ডাকবাংলা। এখানে একাত্তরের নয় মাসেই সাধারণ বাঙালিকে ধরে এনে নির্যাতন করা হতো এবং পরে তাদের শহরের বাইরে বিভিন্ন স্থানে মেরে ফেলে রেখে আসতো।

In 1971, the Pakistani aggressors used the city of Pabna as a torture center. Freedom-loving people and ordinary Bengalis were captured from different areas of Pabna and kept in these places and tortured in various ways. Dak Bangla was one of the torture centers in Pabna. Ordinary Bengalis were caught and tortured here during the nine months of 1971 and later they were killed in different places outside the city.
