<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Kalpurush; mso-bidi-language: BN;" lang="BN">পাকিস্তানি সেনারা এপ্রিল মাসের পর থেকে নড়াইল সদর উপজেলা পরিষদ ডাকবাংলো (বর্তমানে সদর ডাকবাংলো) ক্যাম্প স্থাপন করে। পাকিস্তানি হানাদার বাহিনীর অনুগত শান্তি কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান মাওলানা মো: সোলায়মান(সোলেমান ) তাঁর নেতৃত্বে বরিশাল ও ফরিদপুর থেকে শরণার্থী যখন নড়াইল সদর হয়ে ভারতে যাচ্ছিল তখন তাদের কে ধরে নিয়ে জেলাপরিষদ ডাকবাংলো নিয়ে নির্যাতন করতো। তার পর অনুগত জল্লাদ দ্বারা গলা কেটে হত্যা করা হতো। নড়াইল পুরাতন লঞ্চঘাট (জজকোর্টের পূর্ব পাশে নিমাগাছওয়ালা ঘাট বলে পরিচিত ছিল) জবাই করে হত্যা করত। এ ছাড়াও বিভিন্ন এলাকা থেকে মানুষদেরকে ধরে এনে নির্যাতন করে হত্যা করা হতো এবং যুবতী মেয়েদের ধরে এনে পাকিস্তানি বাহিনীর হাতে তুলে দিয়েছে। এই মেয়েদের নির্যাতনের পর হত্যা করা হয়েছে। তৎকালীন জেলা পরিষদ ডাকবাংলো ছিল নড়াইল জেলার সবচেয়ে বড় নির্যাতন কেন্দ্র। তবে তৎকালীন সময় একতলা দালান ছিল যা বর্তমানে নতুন করে দুই তলা ভবন করা হয়েছে। সদর ডাকবাংলোয় নির্যাতনের পর মাওলানা সোলায়মানের ভাষায় যেটা ছিল “রিলিজ ফর এভার” অর্থাৎ নির্যাতনের পর যাদেরকে লাল কালি দিয়ে এই কথাটা লিখে দিত তাদেরকে হত্যা করা হতো।</span></p> <p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Kalpurush;">***</span></p> <p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Kalpurush;">Near the end of April, the Pakistani army had set up a camp at Narail Sadar Upazila Parishad Dakbungalow (now Sadar Dakbungalow). Maulana Mohammad Solaiman (Soleman), the chairman of the peace committee, had abducted and tortured many refugees came from Barishal and Faridpur here.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Later they got slaughtered by the Razakars. Apart from this, people from different areas were tortured and killed, and young women were handed over to the Pakistani army. These girls were killed after being tortured. The then Zilla Parishad Dakbunglow was the largest torture centre in Narail district. নড়াইল বয়েজ স্কুল নির্যাতন কেন্দ্র, নড়াইল/ Narail Boys School Torture Center

At the end of May, this torture center was set up by the Pakistani army and Razakars. Currently, it is situated the opposite of Sonali Bank Narail branch. In those days, local peoples, refugees and many young girls were taken to the Boys' School for brutal abduction. That is one of the major torture’s centers in Narail district.</span></p> -

Infamous Razakar and Chairman of Peace Committe, Maolana Solaiman, were the leader of perpetrators. On his direct command, Razakars killed at least three and half thousand people during liberation war. They slaughtered </span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Kalpurush; mso-bidi-language: BN;">ordinary Bengalis systemically. They used to abduct women from different region, and then kill them after torturing and raping. The houses of the supporters of Liberation war were looted and destroyed. </span></p> -

It was next to the Narail Judge Court and it was the largest mass killing site in Narail district. At the behest of the notorious Razakar and Peace Committee chairman Maulana Solaiman, numerous innocent peoples were killed every night here. Razakars had a list of people and Maulana Soleiman used to write "Release for Ever" and put red marks on the list of victims. The marked victims were then killed. Most of the martyrs were either refugees or people from different regions. So, their names remains unknown.</span></p> -
তুলারামপুর গণহত্যা, নড়াইল/ Tularampur Genocide
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Kalpurush; mso-bidi-language: BN;" lang="BN"><span style="font-size: 14pt;">১৯৭১ সালের ১৭ জুলাই গভীর রাতে মাওলানা সোলাইমানের নেতৃত্বে কয়েক ট্রাক মিলিটারি স্থানীয় রাজাকারদের সাথে নিয়ে অতর্কিতে আক্রমণ চালিয়ে তুলারামপুর গ্রাম থেকে ২৫-২৮ জন মানুষকে ধরে নিয়ে নড়াইল ওয়াপদা ডাকবাংলোয় (বর্তমানে রুপগঞ্জে বাংলাদেশ পানি উন্নয়ন বোর্ড নামে পরিচিত) এনে তিন দিন নির্মম অত্যাচার চালায়। ২০ জুলাই তুলারামপুরের আট জনকে নিজ হাতে কবর খুঁড়িয়ে একটি কবরে জীবন্ত কবর দেয়া হয় এবং বাকিদের নির্যাতন করে ছেড়ে দেওয়া হয়।</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Kalpurush; mso-bidi-language: BN;" lang="BN"><span style="font-size: 14pt;">*** </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Kalpurush; font-size: 14pt;">On the night of 17</span><sup style="font-family: Kalpurush;">th</sup><span style="font-family: Kalpurush; font-size: 14pt;"> July, a troop of Pakistani Army, led by Maulana Solaiman, along with local Razakars, attacked Tularampur village indiscriminately. They had captured 20-24 people and brought them to Narail Wapda duckbanglow (now known as Bangladesh Water Development Board in Rupganj). On 28</span><sup style="font-family: Kalpurush;">th</sup><span style="font-family: Kalpurush; font-size: 14pt;"> July, 8 people of them were buried alive in a grave. পানি উন্নয়ন বোর্ড গণকবর, নড়াইল/ Water Development Board Mass Grave, Narail
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Kalpurush; mso-bidi-language: BN;" lang="BN">নড়াইল জেলার তুলারামপুর গ্রামটি ছিল তৎকালীন নড়াইল মহকুমার প্রবেশদ্বার। তাই মুক্তিবাহিনীর সদস্যরা এখানে অবস্থান করে বিভিন্ন অপারেশনের পরিকল্পনা করত। ঐ গ্রামের বাসিন্দারাও মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের বিভিন্নভাবে সাহায্য সহযোগিতা করত। তেমনি একটি পরিবার ছিল তরফদার পরিবার। এই পরিবারের সদস্যরা শুধু মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের আশ্রয়ই দেয়নি</span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Kalpurush;">, </span><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Kalpurush; mso-bidi-language: BN;" lang="BN">তারা যুদ্ধেও অংশ নিয়েছিল। এই খবর স্থানীয় পিস কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান ও তার সহযোগীরা হানাদারদের নিকট পৌঁছে দেয়। ১৭ জুলাই ভোরে হানাদাররা তরফদার বাড়িতে যায়। তাদের সাথে সোলায়মান মোল্ল্যা ও তার সহযোগীরাও ছিল। তারা তরফদার বাড়ি ও গ্রামের অন্যান্য বাড়ি থেকে ২৫-২৮ জনকে চোখ বেধেঁ টেনেহিচড়ে পানি উন্নয়ন বোর্ডে নিয়ে তিন দিন আটকে রেখে নির্মম অত্যাচার চালায়। তাদের মধ্য থেকে ৮ জন বাদে বাকিদের ছেড়ে দেয়া হয়। ২০ জুলাই এই ৮ জনকে পানি উন্নয়ন বোর্ডের উত্তর-পশ্চিম কোণে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়। সেখানে তাদের দিয়েই কবর খোড়ানো শেষে তাদের হাত-পা বেঁধে কবরে নামিয়ে গুলি করে জীবিত অবস্থায় মাটিচাপা দেয় নরপশুরা।</span></p> <p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Kalpurush; mso-bidi-language: BN;" lang="BN"> </span></p> <p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Kalpurush; mso-bidi-language: BN;" lang="BN">*** </span></p> <p class="p1" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: Kalpurush; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: BN;" lang="BN">Tularampur village was the gateway of Narail district. Muktibahini used to stay in this village and plan various operations. Villagers used to help freedom fighters in various ways. Tarafdar family was one of them who used to help Muktibahini. Not only did the family provide shelter to freedom fighters, they also participated in the war. Chairman of local Peace Committe leaked the news of Tarafdar family to Pakistani Army. Pakistani Army attacked the house of Tarafdar on 17th July. They abducted 25-28 people from Tarafdar family and nearby houses. Pakistani and Razakars tortured them brutally. They released some of them, but kept 8 people in the Water Development Board torture center. On 20th July, Pakistani Army exterminated remaining 8 persons. They were buried in the northwest corner of Water Development Board.</span></p> -
ওয়াপদা অফিস নির্যাতন কেন্দ্র, নড়াইল/ WAPDA Office Torture Center

Moreover, the freedom fighters and innocent Bengalis were captured and tortured here. On hearing the news, some Razakars, including Razakar Bashir Sheikh, Ratan Sheikh, Jabbar Sheikh and Jallad Omar Molla, led by Razakar Eraf Molla, took Ashraful Alam Khan from Shahabad Haat at around 6pm and was shot dead after being brutally tortured on Narail Maizpara road.</span></p> -
চারখাদা গণহত্যা, নড়াইল/ Charkhada Genocide
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Kalpurush; mso-bidi-language: BN;" lang="BN"><span style="font-size: 14pt;">চারখাদা গ্রামের অবস্থান নড়াইল সদর উপজেলার মাইজপাড়া ইউনিয়নে। একাত্তরে বর্ষার সময় রাজাকার এরাফ আলীর নেতৃত্বে চারখাদা গ্রামের এরফান আলীর ছেলে সৈয়দ তকম আলীকে ধরে গ্রামের মিকাইলদের বাড়ির উত্তর পাশে নদীর কূলে নিয়ে গুলি করে হত্যা করা হয়। এই ঘটনার পর সলুয়া গ্রামের মালেক মোল্যার ছেলে ইদ্রিস মোল্যাকে ধরে রাজাকাররা চারখাদা গ্রামের আব্দুল গহর মোল্লারবাড়ির পিছনে নিয়ে গুলি করে হত্যা করে। একই দিন রাজাকাররা চারখাদা গ্রামের শরৎ চন্দ্র বিশ্বাস কে তার নিজ বাড়িতে গিয়ে হত্যা করে।</span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Kalpurush; mso-bidi-language: BN;">*** </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Kalpurush; font-size: 14pt;">The village of Charkhada is located in Maizpara union of Narail Sadar upazila. In 1971, during rainy season, Syed Tamq Ali of Charkhada village was captured and shot dead beside the river by Razakar Eraf Ali. After this incident, the Razakars had killed Idris Mollah, son of Malek Molla of Salua village. On the same day, the Razakars had killed Sharat Chandra Biswas also.</span></p>
